Mekanik Dempul - Body Paint

About the Challenge

Do you have strong technical skills in body repair and attention to detail in surface finishing?
As a Mekanik Dempul - Body Paint, you’ll be responsible for performing putty application, epoxy coating, sanding, masking, and ensuring the repaired vehicle surfaces are smooth, neat, and ready for painting according to job standards.
This role is ideal for individuals who are disciplined, quality-focused, and experienced in automotive body repair processes.

Requirements

• Minimum SMA/SMK or Diploma in Automotive or related fields.

• 2+ years of experience in body repair, putty, sanding, masking, and epoxy finishing.

• Strong understanding of body repair processes and material handling.

• Able to drive a four-wheel vehicle (SIM A preferred).

• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work according to job instructions (SPK) and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform putty (pendempulan) work on vehicle body parts according to SPK and repair standards.

• Ensure repaired areas are properly prepared before putty and finishing processes.

• Carry out epoxy coating and sanding processes after putty application.

• Perform masking and finishing work to support painting quality.

• Conduct quality checks (QC) to ensure surface finishing meets required standards.
